was aiming for this to be a sunday journal, but i saved it at 8:01 and bam, ds makes it the next day. grrrr. headed to the marina solo - a is still at summer camp. there is a new model yacht that is AWESOME, i love looking at it. wouldn't mind that yacht at all. lol.
wanted to eat out yesterday at that gourmet sandwich place (that i love by the way) with j and he says to me, no. wtf? its like a conspiracy. not used to people manipulating, and that is what they are doing. thought we would have chicken for the holidays. we had fish. thought we would have ice cream for desert at k's, we had fruit. hmmmm. lol.
not doing much of anything. reading a bit, hanging out in the spare room, i sleep so great in there. cleaning in bits and pieces. taking care of the animals. i'm bored. still getting a lot of rain each afternoon. i actually had the heat on today, because it got into the low 70's and i can't handle that. a couple of hours later, had the a/c back on. still taking the meds okay, but i am definitely dependent on them. scary. the brain surges/pressure is mostly gone, but i am still taking aspirin nightly in addition to meds.
the landscaper didn't show up again. i know its because of bad weather, but he said he would today, even though its sunday. hope its true.
still staying home a lot because of the medications and it feels really weird. have no idea how people do this. went and got my mail yesterday and discovered more b-day cards. omg! so left messages of thank yous.
been going on facebook. found awesome sites through back to nature, like we are humanity. good stuff.
need to go for a hearing and eye exam and something else. what amazes me with facebook connections are the ones from junior high school ended up EXACTLY the same as expected. the values of their homes are identical OR the size of the homes are identical - i can count on ONE HAND the number that left the mold. but it was one of the reasons we moved. i think with some people, getting a house and staying put, IS the goal and nothing more. wow! george carlin has a quote on that, "Trying to be happy by accumulating possessions is like trying to satisfy hunger by taping sandwiches all over your body.” -George Carlin

My landscaper shows up when he want\'s to........they did a crappy job. I keep telling my hubby that they are lawn-mower\'s and not landscaper\'s.

OH, P.S. We are now being eating alive by mosquitoes. What the what??? I thought we had gotten over that. lol.
