Emergency Call

I got an emergency call about 4:15 pm from a First Responder to come to a specified address here in town.  I rushed to the house and a friend of mine had collapsed and died on the floor of his den.  He had just came home from the Dr. His wife said they walked in the door and he just slumped and fell to the floor.  He evidently died instantly.  I stayed with the family till the coroner and the funeral home got there. 

I stayed till his body was removed and I then had prayer with the family.  His 2 sons and daughter were there.  The family will make arrangements tomorrow and the graveside will probably be Mon or Tues. of next week.  The family wants me to do the service.  He was 87.  I used to work with him in the early 60's and he and his wife used to come to our gospel sings when I sang and played gospel music. I had known him for approx. 60 yrs. He was quite a guy.
