elevators

I used to be so careful on elevators.I would stand close to the wall.I would hold on.I would step off slowly and then stand against the wall to get my footing. But then the BrainPort made elevators easy-peasy.I no longer had to think about them. Last night, I stepped off the elevator.We were all chatting about movies and laughing.I was talking and then this wave of dizziness went over me.I felt as if I were riding the elevator up and down. I felt as if I might faint.I was so disoriented.I just kept smiling.I didn't want to embarrass myself at my high school reunion.
