eggnog and cookies at work//half off sale at the store//70 degrees outside yay!
today is december 26, 2014. didn't get back until today. work is weird, check this out. i brought in eggnog and cups for everyone. i offer "some" eggnog to c, he says, i don't drink it but i'll bring it home to my girlfriend. he walks over to take the entire thing of eggnog home with him. i was like what are you doing? you figure he is kidding? nope. he says he really thought this? The eggnog hadn't even been opened yet. is he nuts?
then the old guy is here. yuck. e offered him, here, you want a christmas cookie (e brought in shortbread cookies in a red tin. he brings stuff every year and all of us have been here quite a while, so no one is new to this). the old guy literally took the ENTIRE TIN of cookies out to his car. i walk back into the office and i say WHERE are the christmas cookies? he says, oh, i thought e meant i should take them home. WHAT? we just got here. the eggnog isn't even opened yet the cookies have maybe three taken out and the rest of the leftovers aren't here yet. you REALLY thought this? i have no idea what to think. never saw anyone act like that before around holidays. have seen food stealers in offices my entire life, but generally they don't steal food during holidays. lol. wtf? that old guy pisses me off all the time anyway. there's always things missing that he thinks are "his"? have a feeling he is just a good actor and likes to steal. seriously.
plus there is still the lying he did, making up crap about one of the other office people last week, its the second time the old guy made up crap about that one person (that is bullying). i wrote up the old guy both times (not the person he was lying about) and lies are so easy to check out. the old guy blatantly LIES when he does this. this time the old guy was caught not getting something done, so he is trying to deflect the conversation by making up lies about someone else and going on about it. grow up. if you do something wrong own up to it, though if he isn't grown up by now, he never will be. i can't stand that guy.
the lying about others is WORSE than the not getting something done. try retirement for real, asshole though i have a feeling he has been underhanded like this his entire life. gaslighting.
every year everyone brings in stuff after christmas. both of these guys are waaaaaay over 18, you honestly think you should put these things in your car and bring them to your own home? or do you think people are bringing in stuff the FIRST DAY AFTER CHRISTMAS for everyone in the office to enjoy? what do you think? i've been to the little tiny office things my entire adult life and have never seen that happen before. TOO WEIRD! we don't get our cash bonuses or (hams and turkeys) like we used to from the company ever since the recession started (which is odd by itself). at best its leftover sweets and cards, so what is with the stealing? and that IS stealing.
headed to the marina with a. everyone is gone except us and probably the marina will be pretty empty. the stores are busy though, but i noticed at the mall that the interior of the mall is decorated but the interior of the stores have very little decoration, so that is different. is EVERYTHING changing or is it because of the recession? they also have masseuses at the mall, very cheap prices. definitely want to do that. its like ten dollars for ten minutes (head, neck and shoulders) and it goes up from there.

anyway, i said this to one of the other guys and he says, yeah, the year the great cookies his wife makes were here on a plate, he offered the old guy ONE and he did the same thing. took the entire plate HOME WITH HIM! so the old guy says, well, if there isn\'t a SIGN on the plate saying for all help yourselves, he figures they are his to take. (i\'m thinking you mean your\'s to STEAL). we used to have a sign that read, if you didn\'t buy it, its not yours, don\'t touch it. i guess that sign will have to go back up. how can you be THAT OLD and still have no manners and still be lying incessantly and still be stealing/food stealing. wth?
got cut off, he says he had left the recipe for the cookies and told him to make another batch then since he took/stole them. he says the old guy brought it home, his wife refused to make it, so he left it. stolen. that is how you act. bad in general. but especially bad over holidays. he says his wife told him, you stole it, you make it, but he doesn\'t cook and his daughter wouldn\'t make it and send it either. have a feeling this has happened a lot with him taking/stealing things. you would never guess it either. he drives a new car and lives in a newer home....wtf? guess he has what he has on other people\'s money as well. a lot of thieves, especially white collar thieves own LOTS of things and none of those things are actually their own. ewwwwww.
people who steal small things steal big things. he always makes sure he gives it right back if he is caught right away. but if he manages to get it away from here, it becomes a big thing. i bet he\'s a professional thief.
