Egg Collection Day

I had my egg collection today and was pretty apprehensive about it all.  I got put in a room with a comfy chair and had to sit there and try and relax (ha ha) for about 30 mins before the doctor called me in.  My DH had just given his semen sample and the embryologist recommended ICSI for it, we were a little disappointed - not sure if that drops the odds...
Anyway, I can remember the sedative going into my arm and the rest of it is a complete blur!  I wasn't out of it but I just can't remember anything until right at the very end when they were counting the eggs. I got 15 eggs in total, so I figure that is pretty good.  Let's hope these babies fertilize!
They were a bit worried that I was going to OHSS but now I am planning to have a fresh transfer about Tues with a blastocyst - let's hope there is at least one.
I am bleeding a little bit and have a little bit of pain in my stomach and feel quite tired but other than that - all is O K.
Hope this helps anyone else who is anxious or hasn't had their egg collection yet.  It really wasn't that bad.
Now.. I guess it's kind of a waiting game

Just read this, glad you get to have a Fresh transfer all going to plan, 15 eggs is awesome cant wait to hear how many fertilise, don\'t worry about ICSI, we had it and 7/8 fertilised, at least they didn\'t try without ICSI and find they needed to use it, they would only use it to increase your odds. Good luck, fingers and toes crossed for you

First off, I LOVE how you all call it an \"egg collection\" rather than a retreival. Same thing, just different parts of the world :). Congrats on the 15 eggs! I hope you get a good fertilization report!
