Effective Women's Home Defense: Establishing the Survivor's Mindset
There is nothing more confidence-shattering than to spend enough time understanding all of the methods and starting to feel great about yourself, only to have the bubble burst the very first time you try out your new-found skills. Girls then commence to feel there is nothing they can do to protect themselves when they can't actually ensure it is work against an individual who is not really wanting to hurt them.
The real pity is when somebody is actually attacked, and following repeated efforts, can not make their self-defense practices work. At that point, they just stop trying, and will not fight regardless of what. I can just only envision that someone in that situation might look back on the time or money spent for self-defense classes and feel that they had been victimized twice!
The majority of the people who take my self-defense classes are women. Often, I have even a class that's all women. However, that's by coincidence, perhaps not design. Women who sign up for my classes understand that there could be equally guys and women in the class. Whether you can find really guys in the school isn't crucial, all things considered, I am teaching the class, therefore there is always at least one man in the 女性の自己実現を応援するサイト「リソウノジブン」.
The idea is, if a lady is so threatened by men, that she won't also have a self-defense school with guys, she won't survive an assault by a man. Why? Because "intimidation" is merely yet another term for fear. Till she can show to himself the practices work with a man, she has been doing nothing to greatly help her overcome her anxiety about men.
If she's ever attacked, it will probably be by way of a man! If she hasn't gotten over her concern with men, she'll immediately stress, no real matter what she's learned. If she hasn't realized how to deal with greater, tougher, more aggressive male, she will not know how the character of the specific situation can modify in real life!
