Economic downturn finally hit us
Hubby came in fuming last night as we had gotten our quarterly report on our life insurance and we have been losing money ,which is no surprise to me as I have been keeping up withthe news but apparently even though he's been watching he hasn't been listening! He acts as though we are the only ones losing money and that is the fault of the investers not knowing how to invest our money. They had asked us earlier in th eyear to raise out payment to protect us form losing even more so of course he's more upset and is demanding that I lower the payment as we are losing money. When is he going to get it through his thick head that when he comes at me with all this stuff that it only upsets my inards and only aggravates the crohns!! We ahve been over this ad over this and it only seems to go in one ear and out the other! Had he opened the letter when it came he could have gone nd confronted the agent himself. Instead he waited until 10 pm and then came fussing at me when I couldn't do anything about it. I love my hubby but when it comes to things like this he just doesn't seem to get it. I could eally use a bit of support form some one . Thanks for listening.

I\'m sorry you are having to deal with this. It sure seems that a lot of men find it difficult to react to life\'s \"little challenges\" in a way that is rational and productive. It is certainly not rational for your hubby to roar at you about a situation that you can do nothing about... and it is also not productive for him to do that when it only worsens the health problems that you are already struggling with. However, I\'m quite sure you don\'t need me to tell you what you already know. I\'m glad you journaled about it, instead of keeping it internalised... I hope that has helped. Perhaps that would work with hubby... do you think if you told him to go and write a letter to whoever caused his upset that he would try doing that? Just a thought... I know it always helps me to write it down... but then men are so different aren\'t they! I hope he has got it out of his system by now at any rate... I\'m sure you don\'t need him to keep going on and on.
Sending hugs and smiles... take care... xxx
thanks so much fo rthe note to boost me for the day!!
