An introductory workshop for students with no experience in 'policy' debating who want to see what it is all about. It is a great way to ease students in art school and provides a solid foundation to build upon. Aspect Vern Barnett School was established in the 1970’s and was the first of the nine Aspect Schools.
9.30-11am during school term – meet at Field of Mars on Tuesday, Wednesday and Friday . There are different stations set up (craft, blocks, books, babies, sport) plus the playground. Children can move between stations freely and there’s no need to stay for the full 1.5 hours.

Elaine Butler is an Irish/Australian visual artist and mobile arts educator located in both the Blacktown/Hills Area of Western Sydney and in Wallerawang, Regional NSW. She is also a Mural Artist, qualified in Art Therapy, and a children’s book author & illustrator.

This introductory level course aims to give primary school students a head start on their public speaking and speech writing skills in a fun and welcoming atmosphere.

Artist and mentor Patrice Wills has been leading up and coming artists and creatives across Blacktown and western Sydney for the last few years and she’s back for another season. Please bring an apron or suitable clothing for the painting and sculpture workshops.

An exciting and fun weekly program for students in Kindy that allows students to develop their communication skills without needing to know how to read and write.
