We provide comprehensive art course of study in drawing classes, painting and variety art for beginners, intermediate and advanced learners.
We work hard to create beautiful, interesting, homelike learning environments for children – whatever our setting. Every year, schools across New South Wales are invited to participate in Operation Art, an initiative of The Children’s Hospital at Westmead in association with the New South Wales Department of Education. The Operation Art program provides a forum art school sydney for schools and students to demonstrate their visual arts achievements through exhibitions at the Armory Gallery, Sydney Olympic Park and the Art Gallery of New South Wales. Junior Jivers is a fun, musical themed playgroup for toddlers, pre-schoolers and their parents (or grandparents / carers) run by a group of volunteers from Newington Anglican Church.
It currently caters for approximately 121 students who are supported by a highly dedicated and knowledgeable staff. Our teaching staff are dedicated to provide a stimulating curriculum whilst incorporating best evidence informed practice specific to autism. Programs are designed to motivate learning and engagement and each activity is differentiated to meet the student’s individual needs. I have 2 children enrolled and they are at very different levels. All Arts Academy have been able to cater for them both and they are thoroughly enjoying their lessons and music. The teachers and staff are wonderful and have always shown enthusiasm and interest in the children and have developed a great rapport.
I often teach with Mel and she amazes me with the patience and positive attitude she shows to all students. Our school holiday program is held across two Art Est venues which are just across the road from each other. They are the Art Est Annex Studios, located at 42 John Street (above the Hardware Store), and our main campus studios at 10 Hill Street. Suara Indonesia Dance Suara Dance presents an energetic mix of dance, body percussion and song.
Meena dedicates herself to each student and is passionate about passing the breadth of her experience and knowledge to the next generation of pupils. She has taught for over 12 years and her students have gone on to achieve wonderful AMEB and competition results. The NSW Government provides further funding for children who meet the Start Strong Equity funding criteria. If you think you may be eligible for Equity funding, please speak with the Preschool Director further about this. The NSW Government is committed to ensuring that all children in NSW can participate in 600 hours of quality preschool education in the year before school, no matter where they live or what their circumstances are. We have a particularly strong commitment to inclusion, with the great diversity in our families, staff and local community acknowledged, embraced and celebrated within our daily program.
Students are taught the basics first and once the basics are formed, everyday phrases that are necessary to form a general conversation in the country are taught. Reading and writing in these languages are also taught as they are important as learning how to speak in these languages. The Writing Program will helps the students enhance the way they combine words to create a more engaging and entertaining piece to attract readers. Students will experiment and explore with different types of writing (narratives, poems, speeches, etc.) to create many different pieces.
At KU Eastwood, we began our journey to develop our centre’s RAP in 2019. Our centre has been independently assessed by the Department of Education NSW under the National Quality Standards, and are proud to be rated as Exceeding the National Quality Standard. With all-inclusive prices and plenty of designs traditional and modern to inspire those just starting out, Sydney's Tennyson Studio has course to suit all levels. Tennyson Studio offer everything from introductory sessions to a regular evening class, with a large choice of plates, platters, bowls, jugs, vases, jewel boxes, teapots and mugs and more.
They sit around the table with an educator who helps them practice writing letters. In the afternoon, Molly spends some time outside in the fresh air. After seeing her picture, an educator encourages Molly to run around and find all the flowers in the garden. The spacious centre is warm and homely, with interiors bathed in natural light from the floor to ceiling windows. The sensory rooms feature natural materials and décor, brightly coloured furniture and tactile cushions and rugs.

Off the kit, Matthew is also majoring in English and philosophy with a deep focus on existentialism, metaphysics, ethics, and other subjects on the human condition in life. His wide openness to experience is a measure of his interest and practice in art, poetry, literature, music and philosophy, which enters in his teaching habits to inspire his students.
