early morning update, as we blossom into the new week. Big warm hugs from us all <3

Hi angel friends, good morning wishes, on this early monday morning :)

i wanted to share some early updates, and will also be writing an evening journal too. Thank you all, for your continued comforting well wishes, and prayers, for my dad :) We're all rallying around him, and helping him as he rests up, and begins this healing journey. he's in a lot of pain, and discomfort. he's going to be seeing a specialist today, for his face, and throat. he's having some difficulty eating, due to the facial fractures. i will keep everyone updated. We're all chipping in to help out around the house, whether it's cleaning, organizing, or emotional support. Alyssa bought some soft foods for my dad, which she brought over last evening. my dad is being given, new items by domino's pizza, including a new shirt, and also a new 10 years of working at domino's pin, that was lost on saturday night. the owner of the dominos here, is very angry, and upset that the police here, didn't arrest anyone, and that they didn't allow a fair process of pressing charges.

my dad is kinda hesitant on the whole calling the lawyer issue, but we are trying to persuade him to take that action, as we believe his lawyer could provide more information, about what his options are. the cop that went to the hospital, wasn't being fair, as he was telling my dad, if he presses charges, then the guy can press charges.we see that, but also, we also see that my dad had his injuries documented by the hospital, and this guy didn't go to the hospital, but my dad's car tire didn't run over his foot, so my mom and i were talking, along with Holly, and we believe my dad's lawyer here in the city, could tell my dad that, and could tell him what actions to take legally. the police's shortcomings, are very well documented over the years here in our city, including the Day newspaper (www.theday.com) posting a big new article today, about the police shortcomings over the years, and their lack of bringing safety, to the community. we're relieved, the day newspaper, posted up this article. i did some writing this past weekend, and alerted numerous news outlets here in our area, of the incident, of assault, battery, and bodily harm, brought to my dad, by these 4 thugs, and how the police here didn't arrest anyone. the entire community here, is sickened by the overall lack of care by them, and how many incidents, are simply brushed under the rug. we have no faith in their serving the community. we've seen it far too many times, and it's hurt our hearts so many times to see this, and to have it happen to us personally, it's very disheartening. even my mom said, that the cop who went to backus hospital to talk with my dad, sounded like he was  blackmailing my dad, saying, if you press charges, they will too, and your case won't go far, which is very upsetting. we believe my dad's lawyer will say otherwise, about the whole situation, which is why we are so hopeful my dad will go forward to calling his lawyer. The day's news article today. i like to think, my writing to the day over the weekend, helped inspire them, to go forth in posting this article they wrote, and i hope it helps those here, who try to protect and serve, to do better, and to start doing what's right, for the entire community.

all of us, my dad's co-workers, friends, are  extremely upset, with so many emotions about the whole ordeal, and lack of justice. We're keeping positive as we can, for eachother. we appreciate you all being here for us, and helping us through this rough time. 2020 has been something else, already, with all that's happened this year. if all of the years, were going to be having a  gathering, i think 2020 would be the only year, without an invite. it can go somewhere, and we hope 2021 is much better. i know it's been a very rough year for everyone, pandemic, and so much more. there's been some good moments of course, but overall, this year, 2020, truly can go somewhere. we feel down, and dejected a bit, about everything. we know we must keep strong though, remaining positive, and keeping moving forward. We all have eachother, our health, my dad's gonna get better, healing, and there will be better times ahead. writing is helping me a lot. i did write to the news outlets, the mayor, and mayor's office of numerous officials, to bring to their attention, about the incident, and i believe my writings, truly is getting through to them, that more has to be done, more changes has to be made. we've seen it far too many times, not just here in our own city, and state, but around the states, injustices, and we completely feel for those protesters who have been out there this year, to have their say, to have their moments, of letting their state officials know, they want change, and that's a good thing, because maybe all of our voices can be heard, for the better, safe, healthy, communities, where we can be proud, to call it home, and to feel safe. as much as we are upset, angry, disheartened, and hurt, by all that's happened, we're gonna keep on keeping on with the week. i'm so glad i've been doing some writing, including writing these news outlets, and they've been in contact with me through email. my mom and Holly are proud of me for writing them, and standing up for my dad, us all, and our community, in this way. friends here, who have had to take a stand and write to their news, officials of their states, and towns, inspired me to write to ours. <3

Today, we're mailing some more Christmas cards here from home, keeping updated on my dad's health, and healing, plus we're gonna tune into some sports radio, my Washington football team had a big win yesterday, i want to do some more writing, and i want to take some pictures to share :) i admit, our spirits, have been dishelved, discombulated, and are clouded up, but aren't broken, and we will get through this foggy time. We do have some snow in our forecast today, and a big snowstorm on wednesday into thursday. Thank you all again, our dear angel friends <3 we're with you, every step, and thank you for always being here for us all too :) we all have a lot of emotions, but they will continue to settle, and we'll all be ok :)

We love you all our dear angel friends, and will always be here for you all, in all your goals, health, and every time you need us, we want you to know, you can count on us, even when we ourselves, are going through a rough time, it's such a comfort, DS, and how we all are here for eachother :) keep healthy, safe, and strong. :) We hope everyone has a good day. i'll update everyone as the day goes on, about my dad's health, how his appt. goes, any new updates, and will post a journal around my normal 5pm journal time, with pics :)

-never lose hope :)

Thank you all, our dear angel friends :)

Hi Chris Thanks for the update Your dad will get better day by day and all will return to normal a little at a time. I agree with jean be careful what you do and say and write even on this site You never know who could be reading things If I biker gang is involved They could go after others close to you Things like that are serious If your dad is reluctant to seek a lawyer or press charges perhaps he has a good reason Take care-Stephanie

Thanks for the update, and we’re continuing to send our love and healing prayers. It’s worth considering that the police have been threatened by, or are protecting the bikie thugs themselves, whatever the case it’s a bit scary that the people we pay to protect us do us such a disservice.
I hope the specialist can help your dad with his eating, and healing. xxxx

Thanks for the update, you really need to consult an attorney, the police had no right to start telling your dad that if he presses charges they will too, THE thugs have the burden of proof, the hospital has documented your dad's injuries. The thugs, who CLAIM he ran over their foot, have to PROVE it. if a case were brought the thugs would be at a disadvantage. maybe the police said that so they don't have to show up in court. your father has the right to bring a case against them. And, in the long run, who do you think a judge or jury would have sympathy towards a senior who was out delivering pizza OR 4 thugs who beat him up?

Thank you everyone, for your caring support, and warm well wishes :) it means the world to us :) we're so hopeful, that my dad will make a full healing recovery, both physically, and emotionally. we're very disheartened by the police who didn't do more, and didn't seem to care, about my dad's condition, along with his well being, and the face that these thugs assaulted him, caused broken bones, bodily harm, including having to get a CT scan, and didn't arrest anyone. we can only hope, the city's police here, will do what's right, and will make our community, a safer environment. times have changed so much. so many people, family, friends, news, and even if the police won't arrest these thugs, in the eyes of us all, they are nothing more, than wimps, thugs, sissies, and violent people who deserve to be in prison. thank you all, for keeping strong with us, during this rough time. Wishing us all much peace, through these times.
