Early Learning Centre Narre Warren
Prep teachers and our school leaders talk about how we can work as a team to guide and support your child’s learning experience. Narre Warren North Primary School recognises the importance of ensuring our new students feel safe, nurtured and excited about starting school. The beginning of your child’s journey to school starts with our extensive and supportive Prep Transition Program, where your child will have many opportunities to engage with their new school and surroundings. This will help your child establish a personal connection and begin to settle in to their new school environment. At our Narre Warren early learning centre, we have a dedicated chef who has been passionately serving our children and families for over a decade.
Our light-filled indoor learning spaces are designed with natural resources to support children’s exploration, curiosity and development. Our childcare centre stands out through a dedicated focus port melbourne kindergarten on nutrition and premium education. With menus tailored by our resident naturopath and a curriculum inspired by Montessori and Reggio Emilia, we provide the perfect environment for school readiness. Give your child the benefit of nutrient-rich food and a world-class educational philosophy.
Children enjoy our newly renovated playgrounds featuring sandpits, slides, balance bridges, a climbing wall, swing, teepee and a yarning circle. Our expertly designed Kindergarten program also supports children as they develop the skills and confidence needed for a successful transition to school. I am a Bachelor-qualified Early Childhood Educator dedicated to fostering learning environments in which children feel safe, supported, and empowered to explore, discover, and develop their unique abilities.

The amount you pay depends on your family\'s CCS entitlement and your centre\'s daily fees. The CCS hourly rate cap is the maximum hourly fee the Australian Government uses when calculating your Child Care Subsidy. For the 2025–26 financial year, the hourly rate cap for Centre Based Day Care is $14.63 per hour for children below school age.
From morning greetings to mealtimes, play sessions, and group activities, every moment becomes an opportunity to support your child’s language, cognitive, social, and emotional development. Research has shown that learning to swim from an early age supports children’s gross motor skills, builds confidence and that early swimmers even perform better socially and academically in later life. As a child revels in their progress and success, they gain confidence within themselves that continues even after they step out of the water and into other aspects of their lives. Our qualified aquatic staff, teach children to develop the necessary skills to be safe in and around the water and ensure they have this skill for life.
Toddlers natural energy, inquisitiveness and thirst for exploration is embraced at this age group. We create a program that is based on children’s interests, ideas, strengths and stages of development to support and guide children’s learning together. G8 Education is privileged to contribute to the care and early education of over 45,000 children, from babies through to kindergarten and preschool, in our 350+ child care centres across Australia. Our dedicated educators are passionate about building strong, trusting connections with children and families.
Children are encouraged to take responsibility for their personal needs, make choices, and develop independence through daily routines such as self-care, packing belongings, serving meals, and managing transitions confidently. Our aim is always to include our families and ensure they are a part of their child’s first life expedition. We recognise that children living in the inner-suburbs may not have the opportunity to spend a lot of time outdoors. Research demonstrates this leads to the early onset of mental health problems in children as young as 3, including anxiety. Children’s behaviour is also significantly impacted as we are spending more time indoors than previous generations.
You’ll also need to provide key details and documents, including your child’s birth certificate, Medicare details, immunisation history statement and, if eligible, your Child Care Subsidy details. We encourage families to contact the centre directly for the most up-to-date information. As your child prepares to head home, this is your opportunity to speak with our friendly educators about your child’s day and everything they learnt. If you have an infant, we spend one-on-one time with them to establish a connection. We use songs, games, and conversations to strengthen relationships and build language skills.
