While we offer educational programs to younger children, our 3-year-old and 4-year-old Kindergarten programs offer a structured approach to the children’s education. Our programs follow the National Quality Standards, and our Kindergarten educational program is designed by a fully qualified early childhood teacher. A centre tour is a convenient way to experience the childcare centre of your choice and meet with our qualified educators at a time that is suitable for your family’s schedule. We understand that navigating the Child Care Subsidy can be tricky, especially for families new to child care. Inspired by the Reggio Emilia approach, each of our centres are designed to ignite a child’s imagination.
Your child will participate in learning musical skills and awareness, and be encouraged actively explore their own interests through singing and dance. We provide childcare and early education for children from six weeks to five years of age. As lifelong learners, our people are curious and focused on putting your child’s needs first. Children may attend the services provided they will be three or four years of age for the relevant service, as of 30 April in the year of their attendance. Families can access 15 hours of free kinder per week, soon to be named ‘Pre-Prep’, through Victoria’s Best Start, Best Life reforms. To be eligible to attend, your child must turn 4 years of age by April 30, the year they start kindergarten.

The 4/5 year old Discovery Program is a government-recognised kindergarten program. As part of the program, children join the Early Explorers (bush kinder) spend three hours of uninterrupted play on College grounds, using what nature has provided as learning materials. The program is based on the ‘forest preschool’ approach, originally established over 50 years ago in Scandinavia and now an international movement. Our educational team partners with families to support each child’s development. Learning is fostered through natural curiosity and interests and children are involved in decision-making. We focus on creating an environment of respect and trust, so children feel safe and secure.

The sustainable building design and programs are mirrored in Little Beacons, Berwick Campus, which opened at the start of 2020. Both centres are rated as ‘Exceeding’ under National Quality Standards.
