Early-Early
We had an Early-Early weekend this week. Early-Early is what I tell Foxy when we got to bed early on Friday night. E-E means we got to bed at 9 Friday night(Early) and get up at 4 Saturday morning(Early). We have an e-e every Friday so I can go grocery shopping at 6 Saturday morning. It used to be 4:30 or 5:00 until the store changed hours and started closing at 2:00 Saturday and re-opening at 6. E-E on Saturday night means I do laundry Sunday morning. We've adapted to e-e and seldom have any problems going to bed and getting up. It seems crazy having e-e's, but, I guess I want to keep at least one part of the old life when I had a job. Everything else is gone. Of course e-e weekends only come around every 2 or 3 weeks because there's not enough laundry for a weekly trip. I only wear "normal" clothes when I have some place to go. Otherwise, its gym shorts and t-shirts. There's enough underwear for 3 weeks. I got a lot of extra underwear when the person opening the coin laundry was late and I went home. So, I'd go by Walmart and buy a package. Maybe I'm dumb to hold on to the e-e's, but it seems to help keep my sanity.

When I go shopping I leave the house at 4:30AM and head for Walmart and do a bit of shopping and then head for Winco a few blocks away as they have excellent prices and great variety and open 24/7 with free 9AM coffee samples to drink when I am dragging along at walmart and such. I am always back at home by 10 AM and thus avoid all the \'crazy people\' who head out for their day around this time. A few years ago I purchased a Whirlpool washer and dryer -- one of those front loader washers. It is the small set that is stackable and is just right for my use here. DS sent a notice that they have a BUG and cannot send us the email updates letting us know when someone has updated their journals. I am randomly trying to find as many updates as I can manage as I know our shared support means a lot to so many of us.
((hugs)) shared to you and Foxy
I went out front on my mobility scooter and began the watering at 1:30 AM and finished around 6AM -- this way those people trolling the neighborhood miss seeing me out front with their targeting me as a disabled person. So far doing this works at helping me stay more safe compared to when I failed to understand I was at risk with those two idiots trying to break into my home after dark just from their seeing me out in my gardens on my mobility scooter. I still have to wheel my garbage can to curbside but wait until the garbage truck comes along and then take it out to keep the \'dumster divers\' from snagging any of my garbage and possibly any personal information. I seem to be catching on with how to be more safe
