Each is different....yet the same...

I have four sons: Each one I love,,,,Each is different...Each the Same...
#1 Kenneth- 8/21/64---My first born....The special one...gave me my first granddaughter....loved me...listened to me...respected me...He was my close friend, my son....He had his times when we didn't agree...but if we all agreed...boring as the kids say today....He worked as soon as he was old enough....He set his goals...He became a Minister...He loved his family.....and we love him...loves his mom
#2 Jeffrey----  3/5/67..My second born...The one who just wanted to be by himself...leave his toys alone, he would be happy, a loner growing up...a hard worker...willing to take something negative and turn it into a positive...disagreements would happen, I would send him to his room to think...and most of the time he would return and say..mom your right....if he felt he was right...we would talk about it..loves his mom
#3 Brent----- 8/20/68...My third son....insecure growing up...somewhat insecure now, hate being alone...love children (his)..will do anything for you, will give you the shirt off his back...owns his own business, has made a good life for himself considering being so rebellious growing up...cares so much for others...Loves his mom.
#4 Shawn----6/15/72...the fourth son, the baby of the family...everyone thought he and I had something more special than with the other boys...they were wrong...a good boy...a good man....loves his brothers...always looked up to his brothers...wanted to play ball like his brother Brent...Trouble was he was a klutz...he tripped over a piece of paper, but he continued...his last year to play ball, he became the top pitcher for the team and was honored be helping the team win the tournament for the first time ever...we spent several years together alone, as the others had married...and me being divorced...he just got engaged...and I hope they have a great life together....loves his mom
Each of my boys were different, as we all have different personalities...yet they are the same because they were a part of the family.
Some say people have specials....which everyone said that about Shawn and me...I never felt I loved one more than the other...I loved them all for what they gave to others...and to their family...I loved them all because they loved me, they show it in different ways...but it is still the same.
I can say I love them equally....I love that each one had a goal in life, a different personality...I love that each gives to others in their way...I love that each turn out to be great children...I love that they love me...
Each is different....yet the same...no matter where they are, or what their doing...one thing I know for sure is....They Love Me...
Sunday we will be together for dinner...we will gather around the table to eat, to talk to share...we will maybe play games, or watch a movie...no matter what we do...we will feel the love for each other....We will all know in our hearts that there will be one missing in person, but will join us in spirit....and I will know that he loves me....
I am thankful for four wonderful boys that God gave me to grow with, to learn with, to laugh with, to love with...Each is loved for who they are...Each are loved equally...Each has so much to offer, how could I ever love one more than the other.
I will have a joyful heart this Mothers' Day...but I will have a sorrowful heart this 2nd Mother's day as another Mother's Day since Ken has been gone.
To all four of my son's I say....I love you for who you are....I love each of you for who you have become...I love you as each of you have a special place in my heart...I love you all with all my heart!!!!
A Mother's Day to make memories...love, joy, happiness will be shown this Sunday as my boys will cook me a Mother's Day feast....My feast is just seeing their smiling faces...Ken we will miss you, but we know you will be with us in our hearts...
To all my sons....Thanks for being my sons.
