Each breath may truly be our last

My Aunt died today Wednesday, May 20, 2009 at 1251, in her own home. She was born November 28, 1933. I am happy for her, and mad at myself. I knew before the RAR weekend she was done on earth, I was not really expecting her to make it through the weekend. I never called her and told her about my weekend, that I found hope. The last time I talked to her she yelled at me for going with a bad attitude, and excepting nothing would change when I got back. I did not tell her she was right and I can change and did. Now I will never be able to tell her. We talked a lot the last two months about how tired she was, where I am in life, and that she was ready to meet God. She was a fighter and never gave up. Just the tip of her iceberg: four double bi passes, who knows how many single bi passes and stints, physical and mental abuse, nine (9) husbands, drugs, alcohol, too many miscarriages to count, and me the toughest of all. She was always laughing and so full of life, even at 75. I will miss her dearly.
