Dwelling

I don't feel I am a depressed person; however when I feel 'down', I catch myself 'dwelling' either in the past or being concerned about tomorrow. All of this dwelling seems to be followed by three words I feel should be dropped from my vocabulary: Should'a, would'a. and could'a!
The more I come to "accept' me, the less I seem to dwell. The more I 'forgive' me, the less I dwell. The more I 'allow' myself my feelings to come up and out, he less I dwell.
Where I am in consciousness NOW is not TO fight or resist anything that comes my way internally or externally. I am working on giving myself permission to be where I am without judgment.
Having said this, I think it is so interesting Spirit put right in front of my nose this morning this wonderful reading and I thought I would share.
Happy Saturday to all!
Watch out for this mental habit lest you make your life more difficult than it would be otherwise. It’s called dwelling. Dwelling is the remorse you feel from replaying the exaggerations of yesterday’s mistake in your head coupled with imagining all of tomorrow’s crap that’s coming your way because of it.
There are only two days, we can’t control, yesterday & tomorrow. This day’s the only one we got. And it’s not today that driving you freaking crazy but the remorse of yesterday, and the dread of what tomorrow will bring because of it.
Today is Life’s gift to you that's why it’s called the present. So forgive yourself for yesterday, deal with tomorrow when it comes and take advantage of your gift by staying in the present.
I HAVE AN AFTERNOON WEDDING TO OFFICIATE TODAY; PRAYERS PLEASE!
