Duluth Minnesota

The guit-chi report of the morning indicates smooth, clean rhythms and recall. Both scales and songs are moving easy and complete. Wind is a bit bound, but I've worked with less.

My wander urges of the day are to follow I-35 to the Canadian border, then wander west toward the Mississippi Headwaters at Lake Itasca. Technically, I-35 ends at La-de-dah Lane on the north side of Duluth. Last night's wander that direction sensed it as more of a name change than a break in the pavement. I was too tired to see how far the arrogant housing ranged and turned south in search of more humble lodging, but this morning finds me wanting to see what lies beyond the pretense. My road atlas tells me there are quite allot of camping opportunities up there, but a quick internet surf tells me that motels, et al, are more expensive than a Canadian Tax Bill. Most of Minnesota seems to follow suit.

The weather forecast tugs me directly to Lake Itasca. The air temps are about 10 degrees warmer there.

Dunno. Only know it is time to go. We see where the spirits lead.
