DS Emails Down

I know DS is having trouble with their emails, so I don't know if anyone is going to read this. Oh well, it's for me anyway... it's just nice to have feedback now and then. I had to quit training for the half marathon... the pace was just too fast for me. I have changed my hours at work from 1-4pm to 10-2pm. I'm going to be applying for a job there soon, so I need to be able to wake up in the mornings in case I need to be up early. I have a bit of trouble getting in at 9, but I know if I work I can do it. I've just been going back to sleep at 8:30 when my alarm goes off. I guess I should change my alarm to 9:15 so I can get to work by 10. it's going well... I'm still at the information desk. A bunch of volunteers have left or been assigned other places, so it's not crowded like it used to be. We do have 3 people sometimes, but it's not too bad.
I'm still trying to get my weight down... I've been stuck around 215 for a while now. I'm trying to eat better, but I'm not really succeeding. I have this craving for fast food and chicken wings. And tomorrow I'm going over Geo's dad's house for the football games and get the car fixed. I think it's going to be a long day, but what can I do? I don't want to be home alone all day. It's depressing. At least Geo can drive me home at any point if it gets to be too much for me. I tend to not eat well when I go over there... they have yummy high fat foods. And it's hard for me to say no to food. It's part of the reason I'm overweight- I can't say no, even when I'm full. I know tomorrow to go over there with a content stomach. I can't be super full because if they offer me food it's going to be hard to say no.
My friend Courtney is helping me too.. we are weight loss buddies. She and I agreed that if we both hit "onederland" (weight under 200 pounds) by January, then we will meet somewhere. I would love to meet her... We have become fast friends and talk almost every day. She's a great encouragement to me. I'm happy to have her as a friend :)

That is so cool you have a weight loss buddy i think that can help alot someone to talk to and share about struggles and meeting goals! It is difficult to maintain a diet plan when going to someone elses house especially when there are many tempting foods there.
Congrats on moving forward with a sort of transition to getting ready to apply for a job where you volenteer.. i would think they would hire you because they know you are dependable and do put alot towards the job.

It is great that you know where your weakness is when you are in a tempting food situation. Every time you resist makes you stronger for the next encounter! Keep up the great effort!
It is great you have a support person in Courtney and what a wonderful goal to be able to meet after the first of the year when you both reach \"onederland\"

You are on the right track, knowing where your weakness is, having a goal, and a great weight loss buddy(friend) You can do this.
I hope your Sunday isn\'t to tempting. If it is don\'t worry do the best you can. Each time you will do better. This takes time so don\'t stress.

It\'s great that you are working 10-2pm You have improved there with doing it slowly. so proud of you. (same goes for dieting)

Sorry you couldn\'t do the whole marathon training. that too will come in time as long as you want to. You are doing great with your exercise keep it up.
