Drug-Free
Good News! I have not used crack cocaine for half a year! This has been hard due to the fact that I have seen some TV shows where they have shown drugs and drug paraphernalia. This has often led me to having a craving to go back to the drugs, but I will not do that. My life is much better for not using them. I am much more clearheaded now than I was when I was using drugs. I can think more clearly. I am no longer afraid of having people drop in unexpectedly. I no longer worry about losing my section 8 housing voucher because of having drugs in my apartment. I no longer spend a large amount of money on drugs each week. I am learning to use my excess money in positive ways. This helps me far more than drugs would ever be able to do. I am regaining my self-esteem and self-confidence. I am beginning to see myself in a more positive light. I can now see how the use of crack cocaine ruined my life and caused me to lose almost everything in my life that was important to me. I am now beginning to receive the trust and respect of others. People now care about me enough to help me with their support and encouragement. Last, but not least, I now say "NO" to drug dealers.
