Drivin' & Fishin'

Got my drivers' license renewed today.  Thanks to cataract surgery a few years ago, the corrective lenses restriction was removed.  Sure glad I had it.  Got my fishin' gear put together. Now I've gotta see when I can get a license.  And it's been so long since I went fishin', I've got to find good places to fish.  I used to have 3 or 4 places that were good, but the corps of engineers, in their infinite wisdom, changed the rules and remodeled some areas taking half of them away.  It will be an adventure.  And I have to make some changes, too.  Gone are the days of hauling my big tackle box, 5 rods, a minnow bucket, cold water thermos, and a folding chair at one time to get to the fishin' spot.  It'll be 2 rods, a spinning and spin casting, since my thumb can't control the baitcasting reels and a smaller tackle box.  But nay fishing will be great.  I'm looking forward to it.

Up here in Canada, when you\'re retired (or at least 65), you can fish for free, no more licenses. You should check and see if you really have to get a license for your fishing. I wish you the best of luck with your \"casting about\" for a good fishing spot.... wish i was coming with you, i haven\'t fished for years! Hugs and kisses, Mike, take care. Deb :o)
