Drifting
Where did May come from? Have I really been here at the ranch for over four weeks? How did THAT happen? Seven weeks since I left the River Region? !!!No puede ser!!!
Instead of packing the lab equipment for storage, I finished the unpacking which was in progress when I jetted out of here last year. The horehound is blooming and has been the focus of the distilling projects I have worked while I fine tuned the lab function. That change of venue was prompted by SO's quiet confession that she has been secretly coveting the lab.
"And why were you keeping that a secret?" I asked her. "You could have been using it all this time. It would be a good match for the bee wax projects you have worked up here."
As I have worked the lab, I have wondered if SO regrets her confession. I have worked alone and. . . Is she avoiding me or caught up in her co-dependency drama with ES. Dunno. . . It isnae mine to sort.
Hubs is a bundle of mixed signals. My wife sense is that he is still sorting through the emotional family baggage attached to this place and still in need of full control over the process. The discussion of developing potentials here are still hitting my senses as an unrealistic job offer more than a partnership. I see his perspective of the job description as an Executive Perspective. It is always easy to underestimate what you are asking of your employees. Still sorting, but I believe we are doing well on making ^it^ safe to talk about. That, alone, feels like a worthy investment of my time here. I think. . . Repeat. . . Still sorting. . .
GD (2 years old) stayed behind when Daddy and big brother drove back to their lives the weekend before last. No planning attached. The decision was pure impulse. The first week went so well that we impulsed our way into a second week. This week finds me wondering if she is homesick, but so far, so good.
Dunno what will happen next, but ^it^ feels like a good drift. Just riding the tide?

I hear you re the passage of time..... I get lost in space when it comes to time
It reads like you've been super busy sweetie and very productive..... I can only imagine all of that honey would be simply sublime on a nice piece of French bread toasted!!
A 'good drift' sounds great..... Big squishy hug.....xo
The honey is but one of many products that come out of a bee hive. Bee's wax, propolis, royal jelly and pollen show up in quite allot of health and beauty products. Ditto for hydrosols and essential oils. SO has cooked up some good recipes with bee's wax and essential oils. She has also taken on quite a few assistant beekeeper duties. Who knows where that could go with some nurturing.
Yes the royal jelly is a great skin care product..... It costs a lot to....... I can remember buying it many moons ago..... Yes I wasn't even thinking of all the places it could go
I was thinking about breakfast....haha.....xo
It is sounding like all the right happenings at the right time making for less stress and easier enjoyments. triple hugs~
