Dreams do come true

all along for the past 25 years I only prayed that God gave me the patients to wait, wait and wait until my EGD would come a looking for her grandmother. It has happened..am so humbled right now I can hardly stand it. Estrangement took place with my ED, when we didnt even have a name for it. She had run away at the early age of 15. My mother tried to help out by letting her stay with her and she, disrespected her, and she moved on with another family. Well I had first sight of her when she came to my door one day asking for her birth certiicate, she was 20..long story short she got married, had  children. I wasnt allowed to see my first GD until she was 4. At that time the twins arrived and then another GD. I have been in and out of there lifes due to their mother holding them over my head like ponds. Thanks to FB I found Bre. I message her and we talked a bit but, I didnt want to prey on her. I friended her but only to wait,wait.. so yesterday, after 9 months she friended me. I didnt want to go crazy but had qestions,so I preceeded with caution. I learn alot and how the little mind works. You see she told me she didnt know me but didnt like me..humm I asked and she couldn't say why, but I figured it out. The fighting with my ED and talking bad about me with others. I was the ugly grandmother. Her mommie didnt like me ,didnt have good things to say about me..so how could a 4 year old no any different. She didint like me cuz of what was being said, subconsciously she made an opinion..interesting huh..any ole ways..I had told her I just wanted to know how shes doing and I wanted nothing from her. I wanted to keep communacations open so down the road if we want to talk we can ..oh the responce was great. She could not see where we could do that and we might get where we could talk on the phone too. The twist to the story is she is 21 and pregnant..(this being my first great grandchild)..she is going to give it for adoption, which I was a adoptive and have mix feelings. oh this is bittersweet..but praise God he has answered a long prayer.
