Dreams

Since my wife left me, I have had three dreams involving my wife. The first: It was somewhere around winter time as snow covered the streets. I was walking around my neighborhood when I noticed a group of dogs barking at each other. I got close to them and recognized one of them as one of my own (my wife took our dog and cat with her). I called out my dog's name and petted her. I was surprised to see my dog. I turned around and saw my wife in the distance, wearing her red hoodie sweater. She walked up to me, teary eyed. We hugged, we cried. She came back. She was sorry and I forgave her. I woke up crying for it just being a dream. The only thing I wished for was that it was a glimpse into my future.

The second dream: I was in Michigan where she and the other guy are living. I'm scoping out the place where they're staying and I see her going out. I followed her to where the other guy is working and they are having a conversation outside. The other guy does not like where the conversation is going but I see my wife sticking to whatever she is saying to him. I told my therapist about this dream and she said that it was probably my wife telling the other guy that she was leaving him and probably coming back home.

Third dream: This is the most recent as it occurred last night. My wife and I are sitting the tub together, enjoying the bath. Time has passed since she left and she returned home. We were discussing going to a friend's birthday party and I am holding her in the tub. I had this concerned feeling that she was going to leave me again, but she looked at me, smiled, and told me she wasn't. She caressed my face and I felt assured. I woke up feeling upset and depressed because I know all of my dreams come from my subconscious. Sometimes I wished our dreams is a message for our future. I could only hope I'm right on that.

Your subconscious is working it out. The first year or 2 is very confusing while the brain sorts it all out. It'll get better. I had dreams too but it's surprising how our brains flush this out to protect us.
