Drawing conclusions

Hi! I created a discussion topic, and i feel like it was misunderstood.  Anyways, i was sitting outside   and the wheather is absolutely beautiful.  These are the days i love.  I was on my porch with the sun shining down and the wind was going absolutely crazy!  well anyways, i came to the  conclusion that i am going to stop feeling something for Jimmy.  He is my best friend, yes, and that  is all i want to remain.  I love him, I always will, but i am not in love with him.   Other then that, I am completely excited for the Fall, i can't wait to wear scarves and hats!   I'm doing well, and I am currently very happy with the way my life is working out :)

Hello lil\' one, I read your original post...and happy to hear that you were able to come up with a conclusion of your own. If your heart changes- and you begin to feel those feelings again, I encourage you to be honest with Jimmy. Even though you stated that you both already expressed those feelings. Sometimes they need to be shared again. Um, so I speak from experience. This week, I had to be open about my feelings towards my friend. I was very freaked out- but it appears that something very special is blossoming, because I was honest about how I really felt. I learned that you are always taking a risk in love and relationships. My best!

I had a very similar thing happen a few years back. I found that the reason I was so upset was not because I lost him as someone I wanted to be my boyfriend, but I lost my best friend in the process. And, losing a best friend is so much more devistating. But, we both just needed time. We are still best friends 4 years later, and are both in love with other people. Keep your head up, and do enjoy the gorgeous fall weather :)
