Dr\'s talk and 1st LIVE Support Group

I am one step or hoop closer to my prize! June 30th is days away :) Last night my husband and I attended my Dr's talk and the support group that is required of me.  I would love to attend more however the hospital is located a 2 1/2 hour drive away! I scooped out hotels in the area closest to the hospital for my husband to stay in while I am in the hospital.  I found the support group interesting people in all shapes and sizes and all at different stages in the Gastric bypass pre-op or 8 years post op!  I did meet a women who is having her surgery the same day as mine! we spoke after the meeting and are having different doctors, I hope we can be roommates while we are in the hospital as a pal even of short aquantiance is a comfort.
