dr. appt

I took my 5th shot on Sat. I had a dr. appt yesterday. The white count came up 1.1 to 1.3- not a whole lot but some. My hemoglobin went down to 10 so he has decreased the rib. to 600 m a day. My liver enzymes are in the normal range and I will find out next Tuesday what my viral load is. Depending on my counts, he said he might stop the treatment at 4 months if I am a quick responder. Mixed feeling about that. Is it enough???

Being a quick responder is a great sign that treatments will do well for you. As far as length I know that they have a general average that they use but everyone is different and it took me 10 weeks before I had cleared the virus C-geno 1a. So that meant 48 weeks for me. If you clear it much faster maybe you will not need all that treatment. My research in this area is not enough to be certain. The data that is available is also subject to interpretation and I am not a doctor. But I am praying that 4 months will be all you will ever need to clear this virus and you can move on with your life not afraid and in peace.
God Bless

I\'m sure each case has to be judged on it\'s own merits. If doc thinks that\'s all you need, YAHOO!!!
Your news is good.
