I should have come directly to the DS site.  Instead, I read an Earthlink article designed to "help" (yeah, right) older women who are wondering what happened to their dating life.  It was full of depressing material.  When I came to DS I debated whether or not to be HONEST about my age.  I'm 62, but often have fudged on that just BECAUSE age-discrimination is out there.  Sure enough, most people are ignoring me, especially the men.  One told me I'm in OLD AGE. I'm left wishing I'd LIED. I'm not your grandmother's grandmother!! So forget the stereotypes.
