Dotting i's and crossing t's

I've been off work since May 28th, 2014. On that day, I woke up, and knew I should be in the ER, but didn't know why. I'd been migraining for 36 days, straight, but that's not abnormal, for me... so, I showered, and went to work. Sometime that morning, I went to the washroom. I remember using the facilities, washing my hands, and turning to face the paper towel dispenser... and then waking up on the floor, surrounded by people. I was taken to the ER, and it was ascertained that I had no concussion, though I had hit my head on the floor, and my heart was fine.
I remained off work, on doctor's orders, and collapsed a few times. They thought I might have a sub-arachnoid hemorrhage. CT scan and EEG were set up, in case the collapse had foreshadowed epilepsy... and both tests came back negative. According to my neurologist, "there is nothing wrong with [me], except [I've] got the worst migraines [he's] ever heard of."
I am coming to the end of the period allowed for short term medical insurance through provincial support, and there is hope that I'll be able to return to work soon, but I inquired about long-term disability with my work insurance - which I contribute to... and I'll likely not get covered. Today, I am on day 150something of this migraine. continuous pain, level 7/10 today.
Tomorrow, I am to undergo Botox for Migraine treatment - 31 injections which are meant to remove my pain. I hope to god it works. I've been suffering for so long- my hair is turning white from the stress and constant pain. I colour it, but my roots are just... it's... depressing. My stomach hates me for the painkillers I take, which I shouldn't bother taking, because they don't remove the pain. They just make me care less about the pain. I'm so sensitive to sound, i spend most of my days in ear plugs, and sometimes my vision blurs to the point that I cannot read a computer screen.

What if I can't work? what if the treatment doesn't work?

I want my life back. I'm scared. I'm worried. I'm depressed like crazy. I want my life back.
