don\'t know how long it will last....

T is back with his gf.  I did say I wondered how long it would last.  Maybe this was the wake up call?  Whatever.  Teenage drama is so exhausting......always when there is a girl in the picture....... He's mad at me now because I called the treatment center about his suicide threat - among other things. First he yelled at me and then he sulked all the way home.  I know I was the scapegoat for all his problems but it can wear on ya, ya know?  Part of the reason he's edgy is because he's exhausted....talking to his gf into the wee hours of the night.  I  had to take his cell phone away for smoking in his room and saw on his cell that he contacted one of his drug using friends.  Anyway, I had to give the counselor the heads up about what's happened because he's pretty fragile right now.  He thinks of it as punitive...thinking I'm tattling.  What I didn't say in the silence on the way home was....I did it so they could address what he did... because I care.  All I said was that I was required to do so.  I always am on the defensive somehow.  So tiring......
