don't give up...

So, if you like someone and don't want them (out of your life) it's best to: figure out how you can do so, without letting them slip; because, who knows... When they're going to come back? So, do what you can in the present to make things work; because, if you don't the chance of a life-time might end up slipping away. So, how you can do this: - Simply assure that person that you're wanting them to stick around (reason for being: if you allow them to understand you're on their side instead of: allowing them to think you're against them. So, allow them to take as much time as needed with the feelings they've got for you; so.) Reason for being: it's best to just simply be there for them instead of forcing them into liking you more. - Although, you may like them as stated previously: don't force them into things; because, it'll most likely ruin something good. So, instead of "rushing" things... I'd just say, "let that person come to terms on their own and feel comfortable with liking you without feeling as if, they need an obligation in doing so." - Simply talking to them again as stated previously: by asking them: why are you feeling this way? What can I do to help you? Things like this might seem small; however, it's bigger for them; because, it shows: that you're into them for them instead of wanting simply entirely "sex" alone... Which, isn't the way to go about things when liking someone. - Lastly, always just be yourself (if this person likes you already it's best to stay that way instead of worrying about your past and how things ended...) Once you understand their past (it's best to reassure them you're not planning on going anywhere; so, that their feelings for you aren't wasted). So, keep in mind: If you push them into liking you or... Simply try to hard to help them most likely it'll end up freaking them out (not always just some times this can happen). So, just... Again please just take your time as well as allowing that person to comfortable with liking you (on their own terms not your own). So, hopefully... When you decide on "giving up" you'll re-think that and make sure, that person stays in your life; because, like I said before: who knows when you'll get a second shot? Honestly, if you let them slip this shot will be gone.. So, it's best to do what I have stated here. (so, I hope you'll end up hopefully, keeping them around as long as you can; because, life is way to short to be depressed and lonely).
