Doing something with my faith.
I believe in God, and have faith in His ability to help me through every day and night. This time I actually did something with my faith, and it gave me joy that I've never known before!
During the past month I've been thinking about giving my tithe to the church, as the Bible teaches us. This thought just kept coming into my mind. But I barely get through each month, often have to ask my son to help me financially. But the thought kept coming back, and I finally realized that it was God speaking to me through His Spirit. So I decided to start giving my tithe, as from this month.
Then all the problems started. Outstanding medical bills, which my medical insurance did not pay last year. I contacted my medical insurance, pleading with them to make an exception in my case and pay those outstanding bills. To my huge surprise, they agreed and payed! Then, two days before I received my pension money, my TV packed up! I was stressed out once again. It would cost me a lot of money to have it fixed, and then I would not be able to give my tithe to the church. Eventually I decided to let the TV stay broken, and start to live a TV-free life, finding other things to do with Colleen. The next day, miraculously my TV started working again! Wow!
On the 31 st, when I received my pension money, the very first thing I paid was my tithe! And then I was filled with so much joy! I kept thanking God that He helped me to do His will! I know that this month will be a blessed month, and that I will somehow get through this month better than before!

That was very encouraging for me to read. I have a feeling that the Devil was trying to bring you down because you are trying to do what God wants you to do. Just remember: The Devil comes to steal, kill and destroy; God comes that you might have life and have it more abundantly. Luv u sister.
