Doing okay
Had my 19 week anatomy scan today: Things are okay. There was some light area on one of baby boy's lungs that they are going to be watching. It may be nothing or it may be something (long name I can’t pronounce - CCAM). I was told to be concerned but not worried as the doctor (MFM) wasn't convinced it was anything or if it was that it would go away on its own. Some sort of cyst or tissue on the lung. I am resisting the Google devil and will wait until my next scan in three weeks. Positive thoughts and prayers are appreciated. Everything else looked picture perfect for both babies. Baby boy was measuring ahead 3 days and weighed approximately 11 oz. and baby girl 1 day ahead at 10 oz. Trying not to worry…sigh.

Easier said than done...I am a worrier too. Just remember, 50% of what we worry about never happens and the other 50% is going to happen anyways so we just learn to deal with it. I was told that my first daughter had downs syndrome because of \"fluid\" they saw. The fluid was gone the next week. Still, they were certain that she would have Turner\'s syndrome. Thanks be to God, she is a healthy 6 year old today. I will be praying for your babies and you.
Thank you. Feeling better today. I was bad and googled because I was more freaked out about not understanding what the problem could be and what CCAM actually is. I limited myself to an academic site only. In light of what my doc said, I feel more positive. Hopefully the light spot will be gone in 3 weeks at my next scan.
Ultrasound is so over sensitive. It\'s great, but frequently leads to little scares. Ccam is so rare - I bet he doesn\'t have it or any problems at all!

I googled for you - sorry I can\'t help it, and I think there is a lot to be hopeful even if it is CCAM. In any case I agree with Kelly, sometimes this is nothing. Stay positive, sending love to your little rainbows. Prayers for you!
Thanks! I will say that the tech found the bright spot and so did my doc. He actually showed me on live U/S. So I know that there is some concern, but I\'m just not going to worry over it! There could be worse things than this! P.S. My cervix was holding at a nice 3.8 cm and I\'ve gained about 18 lbs. Feeling pretty great about my progress and the babies\' overall health.
