Doing good lately :)

I babysat yesterday, and although I was kind of dissapointed at missing swing dancing with my friends...as I am about not having the money for conference with the Christian club-I got an even better gift, the one of maybe finally getting a glimpse into all I do have in my family. I wrote a blog about it. :) We watched the Grinch cartoon together, and I had so much fun being close to my little brothers, watching them enjoy the movie as much as I did at that age, and still do. They were pretty calm (for them anyway LOL) which meant a low din ;) no doubt due to their very early morning wrestling tournment. :)
I can't believe it's only 12 days til Christmas! I think of sharing Christmas morning with my family, and I am a kid again, just like every other year. I am blessed.
My set of four Christian Christmas novels came to the library yesterday, and I read part of the first one this morning, it's really good. It makes me want to keep my writing up, maybe some simple Christmas memories to start with. I have time to deal with heavier themes later, I guess.
I remember caroling with our school madrigal choir at the nursing home in the 10th grade, and when we passed one door singing "Silent Night," a sweet little white haired woman came out with tears in her eyes, thanking us for coming. I think that is the main lesson of Christmas-to give. After all, God gave us Jesus to be the Saviour of the world. Singing carols at the nursing home with my besty at the keyboard, for their Sunday service yesterday gave me that same warmth in my heart. I am thankful for them.
May you feel Christ's love at Christmastime,
hugs, Jazzi
