Dogs and Cats and Kids

Well peeps, I still have my cold damn it. I keep losing my voice and trying to work on the phones and everyone makes fun of me or tells me to tell Ryan to let me go home. I guess I should be at home but staying at work keeps me out of trouble. I just wish I could feel better. The weather here is still horrible as it snowed yesterday and looks like snow or rain today but they said better by the weekend. I can only hope. I have more pain when the weather is bad. I think it could be from the arthritis. Nothing I cant live with but just plain sick of it.The kitties have opened their eyes now and are just so darling. Everyone who has come to see them says they have never seen anything so small. I havent either but they are so dang cute. Trouble is use to me now coming in and loving on each and everyone of them. Three peach and white and one grey and white with brown around his mouth and black little ears. He or she seems to be Dakotas and my favorite so Dakota will take this one home with him when it is old enough to get fixed and take away from mom. I wonder if she will be real sad? She is such a wonderful little mother. I am so proud of her. I will have to find homes for the others. I hope Alvin will maybe let me keep one but I will have to see.No new calves yet but the twins are doing great. The others should be born here pretty soon. I guess its ok since the weather has been so nasty.I came home from work yesterday and didnt feel real good and was kinda awnry. I laid down on the couch and went to sleep. I woke up to a knocking at the door which Al answered. I heard a little boys voice. Alvin came in with a big smile on his face and said he would be right back. When he got back I asked him what was up. He said that their were two young boys outside but he couldnt identify their ages (just like a man) and they said they were trying to get home on their bike (one was pumping the other on his handle bars) but it was too cold and asked if they could come in for awhile. Al just loaded up their bike and drove them home. He said the boy doing the pumping said it was so cold and he couldnt feel his hands anymore ( it was about 35 degrees outside) He told Al he lived about 1 1/2 miles away. Come to find out he just lived a couple of blocks away in some new houses that they have been building up around us. Al and I have five acres and their are only a couple houses on our road. The houses that havent sold out to realtors yet. Anyways so he takes the boys home and gets the bike out. One of the boys mothers came to the window and opened it so Al explained why he had brought the boys home. I hope the boys mom didnt get to mad at him. lol.. Like you know, stranger danger.. I found it quite humurous...Well still sober and its getting a bit easier.. This is my story and Im sticking with it. I love all my friends on DS.. Stay safe and healthy and as happy as you can be. Life is to short to sit back and let it get away from us.. Peace..
