Does she ever.... Not that it matters :)
I know non of this truly matters but I can't help but wonder sometimes....
Does she ever think of me?
Does her little boy ever miss me and my kids?
Why is letting go so hard for me and so easy for her?
Will she someday see leaving me as a mistake?
Does little Matt ask... Where is Jim, Joe and Brittany?
Were we good for them like I thought?
Will the day come where I truly don't care?
Does it even matter?
As cruel as it sounds... I hope she someday weeps at the decision she made!

I understand....I had a friend say something to me that really helped- it set me free. She said, unless he\'s a freaking robot, he\'s feeling it. Trust me.
And I would say the same to you. emotions are a funny thing - a person can squish them down, deny them, follow their own illusions for a while but them emotions can\'t be kept bottled up = emotions just don\'t work that well so yes absolutely it will catch up to her at some point.
Does she ever think of you? I guarantee it! Impossible to wipe out your history so instantly .. the memories...the emotions...they are there.
Does her little boy miss you and your kids? I can say emphatically yes! My niece and nephew (4 & 5) missed me terribly when I was overseas for one month. They kept asking about me. When I came home they were like..we missed you SOOO Much. Trust me - he;s missing you. he asks ... and that is a reminder she can\'t escape.
Letting go is harder for you cos she simply rebounded into something else - otherwise called denial. 90% of rebounds don\'t work out .... all I\'m saying is what I said before..she just is facing the pain yet but it will catch up...it\'s called being a human being. It is how we are wired.
Were you good for them? well that\'s simple..did you love them? Cos in teh end it\'s only love that counts,
Will the day come when you truly don\'t care? ... I doubt it...because you are a man of character...will the day come where you have found heaing and it doesn\'t affect you in the same way?? Yes I believe it will...absolutely you can heal...you will... in time...
Does it even matter? yes it matters. Hell - relationships are a massive part of life. If it didnt\' matter you wouldnt\' hurt this badly right? yes it\'s a big huge deal and it matters.
...will she weep one day/? who knows ... I would say yes if she hasn\'t already. She would have to have a heart of stone not to feel some guilt, some remorse and regret at some stage....
(( hug )) just sticking my nose in to try and help you feel a lil better..
dang my typos are bad lol ..meant to say emotions don\'t work that way and she is just NOT facing the pain yet
Letting go was not so easy as you think. She did her own struggle and slowly detached from the relationship, she just did it while you two were still together. Then when she was ready to leave, she left. You may have noticed a difference in her behavior towards the end, or maybe not. It\'s usually not a snap decision to end a relationship. She went through her emotions on a different time table than you. I know her circumstances in leaving were not the best intentions, but she did love you at one point.
You will probably reach a time when you can look back on the fond memories you shared with her and appreciate them, without feeling sad or sorry. It will take some time, but you will be able to do so someday.
wondering these things may not matter, but it does matter that you are able to be restored to your old self.
She will regret one day. People can\'t be cruel and not pay somehow. I bet her boy misses you lots and asks often. You will heal in time, it\'s a slow process. Just be sure your kids aren\'t feeling the same loss you are and not saying anything! Healing hugs your way!!!!!
Yes...
Yes..
It\'s not but people like her think if they ignore it long enough they\'ll never have to feel the pain.
Maybe not now but one day she will realize her mistake. May not be anytime soon but eventually it will come.
Yes..,
And we are better than them so let go and go on please.
In time it will not matter but try hard to not focus on them focus on you!
Take your power back as hard as it is you keep going for your kids.
I\'m sure one day you\'ll see her hurting but maybe not? Does it matter? It shouldn\'t anymore. Good luck it\'s hard but you will survive! Life goes on and you will go with it...
Gentle ((hugs)) of comfort shared with you. I so hope you heal and feel better soon.
:-) Patricia
All the comments above are so true. I can only wish that you will start to spend time celebrating your life - get out where the atmosphere is upbeat. Starting over is a slow process, but you will see yourself feel upset less and less if you will go out for a meal and talk to others. People like to introduce their friends to great people - so force yourself to be out and about.
Everyone understands your pain. We wish we could speed your healing process, but I think you are doing a great job and hope your week is happy.
Its so nice to know I have friends here as I work through the pain. Even though I struggle... I AM making progress!
God bless all of you and I think about all of you often!
Jim
Even if she doesn\'t think of you, I am sure poor Matt does!!
Unless the poor kid is already conditioned by his mother from the way she behaves.
I hope you can soon do yourself the favour of letting go. You deserve so much better than this Jim.
It is not easy. It takes time. After a while you will realize that regardless of what she thinks you were good for her, for her son, and at some point I am sure your actions will endure in their minds.
