Dodging the Wolf : {
Whew, it's been a stretch of stress. I'm handling stress better I think, then I can feel the Wolf lurking around, the Bastard! As if the stress and everyday pain and malaise weren't enough. I have had a couple of nose ulcers and have some mild ulcers on my gums, but all in all pretty damn good.
I'm learning the new job at a good clip, I'm becoming more comfortable anyway. It's weird but just knowing I can quit at any time has made it less stressful.
It is WoNdErFul having the familiar presence of my husband every morning when I wake, he's a big guy, virtually impossible not to miss him in his absence. The physical absence is the least of it, that doesn't even bring into account our interactions, our relationship. It feels like the last 5 months lasted 1/2 a lifetime.
So who's afraid of the Big Bad Wolf? I am.
I woke with a start somewhere in the middle of the night. I thought I was having a stroke, again. Strangest feeling of half my face, my right half, going into full muscle spasm, independently, without affecting the left. Strong enough to wake me, to scare the Hell out of me, to sit in fear waiting for it, close to tears not wanting an 'episode', not now, actually not ever again. My right jaw (if that's even possible) is sore this morning and my neck feels as if I slept on it wrong. I don't think I ever got back to sleep.
Will write this down in my 'journal' of strange physical happenings. I need to make a general appointment for my yearly flu and pneumonia shots anyway.
Getting up so early does have it's benefits though, I've gotten a lot done. Think positive thoughts right

I hope it all works out and the wolf goes back to sleep! You sound much more positive. It is nice to have our comfortable routines back in step, you don\'t always realize how much it stresses the body and mind for things to be out go whack.
I had a late night episode the other night too......another one to add to my strange things journal....lol. We should compare sometime!
Sending you some positive vibes,
hugs and peace,
Beth
I\'ll help you chase away that nasty wolf for sure my dear friend.
You really do sound like you\'re focusing on alot of good positive stuff & in alot of ways you\'re twisting what could be some negatives into positives & that will only breed more positives. You\'re doing amazing my friend.
It makes sense that you could have residual pain after such an intense muscle spasm episode but I wonder if it might be worthwhile making a note of all you\'ve said above & bring it to your dr\'s attention when you go.
Hope that wolf has left you in peace. So glad to hear that you are enjoying your time with your husband and that knowing that you can quit gives you a certain stress relief. I totally get that!!
hope you feel better sleepy! if you have had this before, did the doctor have an idea what is causing it?
nice that you are your husband get along so well that you miss him like that. i read on another post that he got his old job back. so are you still moving or are you staying in your house now, or what is going on?
glad the job is going along nicely. you are back in travel again? xxoo
I had a nightmare last Sat night. Ugly enough that some suspected possible med change. Must have been the week for weird night crap. I figure it was the meds that haven\'t changed doing their job and cleaning up the brain bugs. If I get more...I will know. Hope you and Brunob don\'t get any more night crap. Nightmares go away, physical stuff can lead to damage. Hug your hubby and thank him for being there for you. Wish I had that.
