I\'ll write them a letter. Betcha as soon as they receive the letter they will call and offer you an appointment much sooner than Feb. The squeaky wheel gets the oil.

I would certainly follow up...the bad part is the actual docs probably have no idea. It\'s getting through the front staff (who are often wonderful...they just don\'t get it). I pray that you get results. (((HUGS)))

I think because of the inconvinence to you ,and because of your resault, they should have made an effort to give you an earlier appt.Well i wish you well, take care.

That sounds like a specialist\'s office to me. Call and demand an earlier appt. or drop a comment like, \"I wonder if the medical board will think it\'s appropriate that I was diagnosed with S.A. and I was sent away with no solutions.\" Something like that. That might get a fire lit under them. LOL. I have to wear the mask ev night so I understand. Write back when you can. Pepper

Calm down. Many people have sleep apnea and asthma. You will be okay for a couple of months. Aren\'t you glad you have a doctor that leaves his practice to care for a patient in an emergency? Some docs would send someone else. Sounds like you have a good one.

most peoplel have that problem for years and years before they are diagnosed with sleep apnea. they are still alive. you will be too. do not tick anyone off; just wait for your appointment and get what you need to get. i understand your frustration, but it is nice to know that your doctor\'s patients enough to him that he left to take care of that emergency. that could have been you.

my best to you,

It is frustrating! So sorry. Hugs. I do agree however, to contact your primary doc and to have patience and know that it is a good thing that a doc goes to the ER (esp if it was you or me) to see his/her patient. :-) See if your primary will get you O2 for night even without a mask for now. He/she can order it w/o an appt even. It\'s really helped me at night, just wearing the nasal O2. :-) Hang in there. Prayers and hugs. :-) And yes, a lot of times there\'s such miscommunication between the back office and the front office of almost any business and the client always gets caught in the middle. Hang in there! :-)

Jai, I have been reading over your journal and the comments. But I think what is frustrating, is that the doctor\'s office should have called you and rescheduled. Emergencies do happen from time to time and I am just glad that the emgency was not for you.
