Doctors, Doctors, Doctors
My time is being filled with doctors. Went to the ER Saturday night and after a 3 hour wait, was given an I.V. of antibiotic, diagnosed with cellulitis, and prescribed some meds. Monday morning found me at the wound care center where a far out doc not only told me I needed to quite smoking(doesn't every doctor?), I should get compression stockings(set up an appointment), cut my caffeine intake, but also how to shower.(I'll tell you how if you ask because she recommends it to everybody) I have 3 different areas on the leg. The ankle-foot area is cellulitis, the area behind the calf just below the knee isn't known, and the area on the inside of the thigh is plain old eczema. She, also detected an irregular heart beat that I'm not buying. Will get the bandages changed Thursday. Monday will see a followup at wound care and, thanks to the way out doc, a trip to the county health center for my heart. I didn't know my life needed more complications. The leg still hurts, but I'm sleeping better and I'm getting hungry again. At least there's some improvement.
