Doctors Appointment

Well went to the pain clinic yesterday for my back of all things. The doctor i was seeing moved to Alaska so I spent  half the appointment getting to know a new doctor who ended up giving me a steroid shot in my back iby a nerve root to make my back stop hurting. He told me if the pain doesn't stay gone for longer than a monththen the next thing they will try would be burning the nerve endings near the Faucets. For that iI would have to be off the Coumadin for 5 days prior and 3 days after, since there is a chance of a bleed. I also wasn't feeling good yesterday so came home and went to bed and slept until 9 PM when I woke up made a bowl of soup and then went back to bed and didn't wake up again until 7 AM this morning. iI must have needed the rest for sure.I sure am looking forward to my vacation coming up in 2 weeks. And I sure wish they would allow us to switch over to working 4 -10 hour days or 3-12's and a 4. This 5 days a week is killing me.I talked to physical therapy yesterday too and asked them how I can improve my stamina in my heart. My hubby keeps telling me its just that I'm out of shape, and if I would step on a tredmill and get my heart beating I would be able to do the things i used to. He's back to his old line about me milking this for all its worth. Physical therapy told me the tredmill would help a little but I need to check with the cardiologist to see what HR he wants me exercising at before I even get on a tredmill, as I  could do more damage than good. I would be better off starting on a stationary bicycle that has the arm exerciser too and use the are part for cardio vascular and just go 5 minutes at a time per the cardiologists approval. It may be my doctor doesn't want my heartrate up that high. I keep telling my husband this and he just doesn't get it and he's back to his BS about me milking it.Oh well maybe I'll just drop dead from a stroke and then he'll get a freakin clue, I'm tired or argueing with him about it. He thinks he knows best. The physical therapist tested my strength in my legs and told me NO I am not out of shape. As a matter of fact iIcan walk all day at work and don't get out of breath, but of course its on level ground.  Once I start adding an incline I get out of breath and my heart/chest hurts so my cardio vascular is out of shape. OK I'm stopping complaining now, thanks for listening.Hope everyone is doing well and enjoying the summer.HugsFerr
