doctor today
my pdoc visit today went bad. he kept asking me if i heard voices. i told him no. then not 5 mins. later he says are you going to tell me if you hear voices or not. do you see shadows or shapes that no one else sees? i'm like no. this went on for about 30 mins. i kept telling him that i was depressed and needed my meds adjusted. he finally kept me on what i'm currently taking and then put me on TRILEPTAL HAS ANYONE HEARD OF THIS drug? he says to take it at night and its supposed to stablize my mood swings and get the thoughts to stop going around in my mind so i can sleep. the n i couldn't find my medicare ins. card and he charged me $100 to see him today. they told me it would be $30.23. i had to write a bad check just to be able to see him. anyway like i said today totally sucked. i feel like hell. and i just want to relieve all this stress..... and no i still have not quit smoking.

Dont worry about your smoking, just focus on one thing at a time sounds like your health system is pretty tough over there.
its ok. i just don\'t think that pdoc is thinking right. i have never had to pay a co-pay before. then he\'s gonna make me pay even more than i should have...
oh hun, i wish that i could do something for you, you could check online about your new meds, i hope that you get reimburst for your outlay, i\'m here if ever you want to chat. take care my friend, lots of love and hugs
I have heard of trileptal which means I probably was once on it. I don\'t remember much other than it was part of this multi-faceted drug cocktail they had me on. Ugh. It isn\'t easy, is it? If you do not like your pdoc, then fire him and get another. These people are a dime a dozen. Go to someone who cares about you, listens to you, and wants to help. I wish you the best.
if you really dont want the drug. report him for foul practice. they work for you, thats why you pay them. if they gave you a price range and you stated what you wanted and he ignored it and did as he wanted just to make money. then it committed a crime. you dont have to go to court or anything, the bureau of medical affairs handles it. The phone number is in the phone book under government.
Sorry to hear about the luck. I had something like this happen after my car accident for my right eye. They sent me to different offices, to pay office visits. None of those offices ever really had anything to offer. My mother reported it. 2 years later before we left Indiana, he closed his office down. lol. I think we had a part in that.
thank you IDK... i will look in to that piece of advice. but what is really scary is that i think the meds are working. i know that it usually doesn\'t work this fast but it does seem to control the rapid thoughts i have at night and i\'m able to sleep at night. i take it at 11:00p.m. and by 12:00a.m. i\'m asleep and i sleep until 7:00a.m. i get up to go to the restroom and i go back to bed and get up at 9:00a.m. and start my day. hope you had a good day.
don\'t put pressure on urself to stop smoking just yet. get ur meds under control first. if ur not comfortable with this doc. find another one; especially one that\'ll take ur insurance.
well thats good! glad to hear things are slightly getting better. ^^ tc
thank you shadohweaver215. what does tc stand for IDK? you\'ve written it quite a few times. so what is your name? mine is obviously Jeanne. and shadow what is yours? it is nice to know sometimes...
