Doctor's visit and DS rant
stupid DS...i wrote a whole post and out of nowhere the whole page jumps over to the weather network.....WTH!!!
But anyway.... so the doc thinks I might have a thrush infection in my throat....and they want chest xray and more blood work, YAY, just what I need. they want to rule out an infection.
But what a visit, I didn't see my doc I saw an intern so I had to go over my whole history and then he did the exam and then had to consult with my doc. They also gave me some sample packs of nexium to try.....it's not covered on my plan and it is pricey so I am glad they gave me samples to try.
Acupuncture has been going well, he took it easy on me today because everything was super sensitive, I think I actually pulled out a pin when he touched it....lol I didn't have any cupping done today which was nice, cause I was already hurting today....I think it was mostly weather related, it seems there were tornado watches and warnings everywhere. A radio tower came down here and 2 Semi's where blown over, but that seems to be it for this area (no injuries)
I haven't journaled this last week because I have felt so bad, that I couldn't make myself go to the laptop and was too lazy to bring the laptop to the couch....the ipad won't let me journal.
the son has been trying to buy a new truck and needed a co signer lol ....we couldn't do it because of the last 4 years our credit sucks, so Grandpa (my Dad) came to the rescue, so we have been faxing paperwork back and forth from Alberta to ontario......he picked it up today and is soooo happy!!!! So I'm happy for him. He put pics up on facebook already.....to me it isn't all that but I'm glad he likes it.
well that's it for me I'm wiped out!

We had one heck of a storm yesterday and this evening. The rain is pouring now. You would have laughed at me yesterday. I was changing clothes and just in my T shirt when I heard a songbird in distress. He was caught between the heat pump and the house. 52 mph winds were blowing him around. I thought I could use a big piece of cardboard and shield him, still in T shirt only. I open the door and splat on the ground I went. The force of the wind landed me in the mud and water, but the funny thing is that I scared the bird enough, he braved the storm. Hiney\'s a little bruised, but my rescue work was a success. lol
DS must be doing a lot of updating or something. I have a lot of issues with it right now. One reason not to journal and my other is the same as yours. Too sick. Oh and when I was on nexium, my rheumy recommended wal mart\'s brand of prilosec OTC. It works but takes two weeks and is much cheaper.

I think you are so right about the weather, I was having a good day bat work until, I went out into the cold windy rain... Mild compared to yours though......and then I had so manning aches and pains.
Don\'t know how you come with them needles not a needle fan though the whole alternative meeds side does appeal.

Yeah, the weather. I went to the masseuse today and because we had been doing major pelvic floor and core work. I told her about how bad Sunday and Monday were for me... her immediate answer was \" I can\'t do anything about a front coming through.\" And it just so happened that I had talked to an older lady that I used to work with on Tuesday and she was hurting worse on Tuesday so I asked the Masseuse about us hurting on different days.. She said she couldn\'t explain it but that some people feel it at the first drop of the barometer and others feel the second wave! Strange, isn\'t it??
I hope you get to feeling better. And I hope the Nexium relieves your pain. If it\'s thrush, that\'s probably why nothing else has worked on your tummy.

The nexium seems to be helping some, but my lungs are still pretty irritated, my oxygen levels have been a bit low, so keeping an eye on that. Had chest xray today and blood work tomorrow.....we\'ll see what happens.
yes am with others about sticking needles in, and my skin is soooo sensitive i can barely be within metres of people. i have found the nexium terrific and can even drop a few days in between so in my dosette box i keep moving it along one, and do that with the pred too, dont do it with the plaquinal coz know that helps and needs constant dose. somac is another one that may be cheaper but stick with the nexium til you get healed. advice giving sorry. sons and daughters and money, hannah is spending mine at a fast rate of knots a bit like your wild weather, i feel like her personal assistant waiting to sign for her deliveries and dragging her ab pro to the car and back and she had the hide to get shitty coz i didnt help her assemble the thing. my week is a tad better, sore from weeding and mowing but getting to like that pain, pain of hard work not just aching all over. massage, now that is what i need and soon. was hard work at yoga on wednesday but hard becuse ex bf goes there but am moving on, i think. sadder but wiser.
