Doctor\'s Visit

I saw the ENT specialist yesterday for the ear and headaches I've been having for the past 7 weeks.  My MD put me on steriods to bring down the inflammation in my body.  So far, I haven't felt the affects of a stronger appetite.  They did weigh me and I went into a depression about it. It's amazine how that number on the scale can crush my self-esteem.  Even when the number goes down, it's unsettling to me.  When I think back to last year, I had lost 22 pounds.  Since my weigh-in yesterday, I have gained back 15.  It was crushing.  Well, I'm trying to stay the course and not beat myself up about it.  I'm meeting friends for a bike ride today.  I have my lunch and dinner planned out at home.  It's beautiful outside and I'll work through it.
