doctor's appointment//dinner at k's//stuff on valL and stuff on m

had dinner at k's and needed the relaxation after having a very bad month ALL of july, that hopefully wrapped up with a visit to a doctor - was dreading this appointment.  one of those.  should really do the same with eyes and teeth so its more like turning into an entire year of bad (and tons of anxiety from the bad) - its been like that since the car accident 18 months ago - lots of surprising pain.  wth?   the doctor - a woman this time - claimed all seems, so that is good - no tumors that she can see, etc.  so they look for tumors at my age or its because of the accident and what can grow from that?  i'm guessing.   i've only had one woman doctor that i liked and that was 20 years ago, so will see how this goes.  the nurse was nice as well, but you can't tell with anyone because so many wear so many masks. 
"know your circle...many pretend well" kind of poem thing.   they used to call that two-faced.  or good "actors", if being very tactful about that.  some are so two-faced they actually start their crap the SECOND your back is physically turned and some even before that.  pat said valL was doing that when we were emptying my storage, she was waaaaay over 18 at the time, so super strange and that whole thing only gets stranger.  is that a wrong side of the tracks kind of person or is that a super-low emotional i.q.  her answer to this was that pat was such a gorgeous guy and a former professional athlete, and if i didn't know how to treat a guy like that, then she did.  (i'd known pat for about five years at that time) so fast forward some time and she shows up at his parents house NAKED.  weirdo.  she thinks that is normal.  omg! 
that is when bda and i discovered that valL was a whore and worse.  actually that was when bda was accusing valL of being a prostitute like a mayflower madam and worse, and her brother insisted valL had solicited him way before this.  wonders never cease.  she worked at the courthouse with bda and myself, so it was a definite shock - so much for court house personnel?    i told pat straight out that that is disgusting and he told me she is standing here listening.  i told him to call the police.  don't remember if he did or not.  weird times at ridgemont high kind of thing.  odd how some people turn out.  i said this to her ex-hub and he says, "turn out" valL ALWAYS acted like that, that is why he couldn't take her anywhere, she acts like that EVERYWHERE, restaurants, pizza places, arcades, she has no manners at all.  NONE.  (so what is she doing working in a court house?)   he says, that bimbo thing isn't an act, its the real HER.  her "mother" that raised her, is the same way.   exactly.  omg!  and its that and much much worse.  gross.  
   
so, we had salmon and veggies at k's, including a baked potato with greek yogart which was actually good.  rum and cokes and blush wine.  brought over 4 boxes of biscotti and some kind of unusual pasta from italy and brought the dogs milk bones as his dogs are young and can probably handle that, i think after age 7, milk bones are too rough on their teeth.  watched criminal minds and relaxed.  then he says to me, that his friend, m that showed up out of nowhere recently lied about how long she knows him to make it seem like she is younger than she is (she said she knows him 25 years).  they were at swedish theatre the other night.  i think he enjoys her, even if they haven't spoken in the passed 15 years and for the first five years that i knew him, he said he hoped he never heard from her again if her name was mentioned.  then it changed and he claimed he tried to call her.  still don't know if he ever did, or much about the huge fight.  some big blow up.  he says, she's been around since the 70's.   i realized afterward, k moved to this area in '83 so at the most he could have known her is 30 years, that isn't that big a lie.  i guess by five years?  so they hung out 30 years ago, but haven't seen each other in 15 years.  almost the same.  her boyfriend who used to work for NASA as an engineer, had a couple of strokes so she is relocating to port st. lucie near her sister, who is her "only one left."  (HOPEFULLY, with her boyfriend as well?)  amazing how that happens to people - you see it in nursing homes alllll the time.  75% of the people in nursing homes don't have any visitors (someone should set up a program for that, like the kindergartens that are also nursing homes.  its a nice match.  ditto with the ones that allow pets.   m has two grown sons but i'm afraid to ask where they are as i may know already and forgot and it could be something bad and then its awkward, so i'm not asking anything.
