It is my opinion that drs are not as "smart" as we think they are. For instance, I was on seroquel for a while now and I kept complaining to my dr because I was feeling depressed. She never did anything about it. Then she decides shes going to put me on something new because I'm gaining a lot of weight. So she puts me on meds that cause depression! "Hello bitch, I'm depressed enough already, what are you tryin to do!?! Kill me?!?!?!?"

Have you thought about going to someone else and getting an opinion on how to handle your depression. Maybe you should consider switching to a different doctor. I completely understand how you feel. One time I went to see my dr about being able to have periods again and she made it see like it was know big deal. \"Hello, you were the one that made me take birth control pills and get pulmonary embolism. and last time i checked you told me it was necessary to have periods so i can have children and not be at risk for cancer of the uterus\". anyway, I know what it feels like. I\'m considering switching myself. Or at least have to other drs for back up just in case i don\'t want to see her.
