Doctor

Don't know why I went.  Had a list of 6 complaints I was going to try and speak up about.   Nurse asked if there was anything specific I came in for.  I said yes and started to talk.   Got through two and she said "ok I'll let the doc know you are here" and bounced out of the room.  Um wasn't done.   She just cut me off and didn't ask if there was anything else.
Doc came in and mostly wanted to know if I exercise enough or eat right.   Ugh.  Well know I don't.   Talked about my edema, but there was no sign of it of course as it only happens when I get too warm.  He said he wanted to test my liver, kidneys and heart.  Seemed upset that I get short of breath when I climb hills.   Told me I was pre diabetic.   Looked it up at home.  I am one point below it so still in the normal range.   Said it was on my test results from last year which I was told were fine.
Asked if there was anything that could be done for my problems hearing with background noise and he said I could ask audiology, but didn't set me up an appointment or get a referral for me.
I asked about help with my sleeping problems and he said to make my husband come in about his snoring first.   I told him he wouldn't as doesn't care that it is causing me not to sleep and he said well he could have sleep apnea and I was to tell him he could die.
I was supposed to ask about three more issues, but he seemed to just be giving me the brush off and trying to get to his next patient so I just went to the lab for his tests.  Now I get to wait to see if I have congestive heart failure or kidney or liver disease.  Oh joy.   Said I have to get the results from the doctor, but I have no way to reach him.  I guess I call the appointment line tomorrow and ask them how.
All I have done is  get myself all stressed and waste my time.
