Doc Visit

Got better news at the doc's today.  Blood pressure is down, but still too high.  Have lost another 7 pounds.  Not too bad for what I've been eating.  Legs are down to almost normal size.  The doc is upping my blood pressure meds and adding a sleep aid pill.  He says it's not addicting and works well with cpap machines.  Overall, the chest pains have gone away and I'm able to mow the yards without too many stops.  I think the high pressure is partly caused by my lack of sleep and stress.  Hopefully, the sleeping pill and the retirement will help the blood pressure.

That is good news. I had to get rid of all of our turf grass and put in gardens and fruit trees. Now, instead of lawn there is flowering ground cover - lawn mower sits in the tuff shed perhaps waiting for a new home. I have learned to simplify everything and life is getting better the more I do.

I was finally able to clean off the back patio - first time in four years LOL

Gosh it just feels so good doing the smallest of tasks anymore.

Huge ;-) smiles to you.

Glad to hear that you\'re getting things on track again. Sometimes we all have so much stress and burdens on our shoulders that we get used to feeling them there, and when they are somewhat lifted, it\'s like getting a whole life back. Keep up the great work! Hugs and kisses, Deb :o)
