doc visit

Going to the doctor this Thursday.  Got to get my questions together.  Pulmonary function - fev1 results to be discussed of course.  Sleep study - he wanted me to have one and I haven't yet.  Oxygen and bronchodilators won't work for me?   Because I trap air and my o2 sats are good.  What is my future?  Steroids?  They work wonderfully for me! But I am young and I guess  we need to save the big guns especially with bone loss etc.  Had a respiratory infection and I took steroids and relapsed overnight-very significantly.  Wet the couch from coughing and I had a pad on.  Anyway  I increased back to forty and I had just stepped down to 20mg.  How does he want me to handle this in the future?  Should i call before doing this? Work? Doing better, but if I get to the point where I was prior to starting my meds and learning to pace I will have to stop work.  Disability?  Or am I not a candidate yet.  I guess I could be a triage nurse.  Would suck at it but...
