Do you still believe in love?

When I was younger I believe in unconditional, undying, passionate, always and forever love, love will conquer it all type.  When I got married I thought it was forever, that our love will conquered all (so naive!!!!!!), that no matter what if we stand together we could face the world.  Never imagined that I would be getting divorced, that wasnt part of the plan.  I've never been the highly romantic mushy type,  I don't need love poems or to be called pooh bear, I just wanted somebody to love me for I was, with all my flaws, somebody to talk to, somebody to listen, ocassional romantic gesture, loving words, a hug, a kiss, somebody to hold my hand, to cuddle with, somebody that I could count on to be there when things were good but also when things were bad.
Sadly I don't believe in that love anymore, I don't believe in forevers and always, maybe passionate but not undying love.  I don't need anybody to die for me but somebody next to me when my time comes, I don't even think I believe in romanticism anymore - I don't need somebody to write love poems for me but somebody to talk and listen to what I have to say.  I still will like somebody to hug and kiss me, to cuddle and have fun with, a friend that can also be my lover, somebody to get along with but that passionate, feel madly in love feeling, I don't want it, I don't even think it is in me anymore.  I might care for somebody again someday, I might really like somebody but I don't believe in "been madly in love" anymore.
I gave it all once, at the end I gave more than I should and got nothing in return, I'm not giving it all once more cause I don't want to loose it all once again.
