I visit blogs about SEO and visit lots of webmaster forums as well as write some blogs of my own about Article Promotion, SEO, and Blogging. I learn a lot by visiting other people's websites and boards and learn a lot by sharing that information with others.
But something bothers me in what I keep reading many forums and blogs. People are obsessed with Google. You will find forums where they check with Google as just 'h' because they appear to be afraid someone at Google may read their post and not like it.
That Google obsession borders o-n lunacy. Http://Markets.Winslowevanscrocker.Com/Winslow/News/Read/37623522 contains new information about the meaning behind it. Webmasters be seemingly convinced that without an excellent rank in Google and without Googles press, page rank, they cannot be successful on the internet.
Let us consider that for an instant. Suddenly they just weren't there, but if they did, if Google folded tomorrow, not probable. http://Google.com didn't handle, page can not be shown, what could you do?

Would the boards be saturated in grieving webmasters with nowhere to show? Could they erect a statue of Matt Cutts and hold funeral services for that CEOs of Google? Can you light a candle for Google?

Before there was a page ranking, toolbar, Google images, Google shops, and Google pay, we made money on the Internet.
However, individuals write articles, blogs, and forums threads that begin with issues like, 'If you do business on line, you have to look closely at Google', like that was a fact etched in stone.
Decide to try an experiment, If you should be someone who builds a great deal of web sites. Ignore Google for just this one site. Just try it once. I'll guess if you really try, you'll still be successful with your site, without visiting Matt Cutts' website even once. Just make it a game, see if you can make money on the web without Google.
Or do you've the Google practice so bad that you actually think the net couldn't actually operate without Google? It is like Al Gore saying h-e created the World Wide Web. We know h-e did not. Neither did Google..
