do the tears stop?

I read this quote ...
"Sometimes when one person is missing, the whole world seems empty."
It's 15 weeks today ... I miss him so much.

Amen! I wish I could say they do - but next week will be 5 months - it seems like yesterday and a lifetime all at once. Hugs to you!

That quote sure says how I feel. EMPTY! Only 7.5 weeks for me and seems like forever yet I remember every minute of that last day like it was this morning. I understand missing him so much because I do to. Been crying all day. Seems I am doing more of it now than in the early days. Thinking of you and wishing you a few hours of peaceful memories.

I can\'t believe how much I cry!

The last few weeks of Morey\'s life were so hectic and so scary; the hospitals; the doctors; the strangers coming and going; touching him and talking to me.....Go away! None of you know our love, our time together...Go Away!

Don\'t leave Morey, please don\'t leave!

13 weeks tomorrow. This past Saturday I finally had a memorial with the extreme help of my family.

I told them all, I\'m not going to talk about loss today. It is a celebration of my baby\'s life. So I didn\'t say tears were encouraged. BUT I didn\'t say tears weren\'t allowed either. If they come, let the tears flow baby, let them flow. He\'s definitely worth it and it\'s good for you.

At the end of the day of the memorial and then scattering of ashes I was with my big brother (my childhood best friend and protector) and his best friend who somehow became one of my best friends over the years. Oh Lord did the tears flow. I didn\'t expect it. It just happened and they were there thank God.

I know you miss him, I so know. The tears don\'t have to stop. It\'s okay.

Hugs, Love, Peace.

Over 20 months I cried enough tears to fill a ocean. Yes they have now stopped for the most part other than brief weepy moments of joy(good memories) rather than the bad memories of the the cancer battle and passing that caused me so much pain for so long. Peace can be found at the end of the tunnel called grief but it takes alot of pain and work to get there. Wishing everyone gentle days ahead. (the tears are actually the most important part of the healing process. Our bodies need to express the grief)
